More lightning from a Snowstorm, Wolf Creek Pass area, CO, September 8, 2020

The first image above was my first ever captured with my Lightning Trigger of lightning associated with snow. It was taken as the storm began, accompanied by thunder and lightning. The lower part of the cloud-to-ground flash is clearly visible, but the upper part near the cloud base is hidden by the snow. Had it been rain, you probably could have seen the whole thing. With the snow, though, only the part largely outside the precipitation was highly visible. The second picture shows what the same area looked like a couple days later, as a result of this unusual early-season snowstorm.
