Pagosa Springs, CO Lightning

After a long dry stretch, the Southwest U.S. Monsoon finally got going again around July 20. Although rainfall amounts were light in most non-mountain areas, a spectacular lightning display occurred from storms southeast, south, and southwest of Pagosa Springs, CO the evening of July 21. I set up on the north shore of Piņon Lake (near the west edge of Pagosa Springs) and was able to get some nice lightning pictures. One of the best parts was that the lake was relatively calm for much of the time, so I was able to get some nice reflections of the lightning on the surface of the lake.
