November 7 Winter Convection - Pagosa Springs, CO Area - I photograph afternoon convection with winter mixed precipitation from Pagosa Springs to near Treasure Falls, then get video in the evening of a winter thunderstorm with graupel (snow pellets) along with smaller amounts of hail, rain, and ordinary snow. This system also brought substantaial snow to the mountains above 9,000 feet.
